You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. The second is equally important: Love your neighbor as yourself. -Jesus
On Sundays at 9am, we offer a time to pray together before the service. At 10am, we gather in age-based Grow Groups to talk with one another about what God is doing in His Church, and spend time developing friendships with one another. At 11am, all of us meet to worship, sing songs, listen to a message from one of our pastors and pray for one another. Our services are roughly an hour long, and we have the nursery available for kids 0-5yrs. We love having the older kids in the service, and are flexible and laid back. Come as you are, and get ready for Holy Spirit to minister to your heart!
LOVE GOD. LOVE PEOPLE.
When we live a life of revolutionary love, we see the effects both internally and externally. A lifestyle of loving God and loving people looks like this...
WE CONNECT.
At Open Door, we provide opportunities to connect with God every Sunday, and we encourage each person to develop a personal relationship with Jesus. We also connect with one another on Sundays, as well as encouraging each person to connect with people in their individual spheres of influence (family, workplace, neighborhood, etc.).
WE GROW.
We provide opportunities to grow in our awareness of how Holy Spirit is moving in every aspect of our lives. We grow by reading the Bible, spending time in prayer, by hearing and obeying God's voice, and stepping out in faith in the areas and ways that the Lord is leading. We grow in small groups and discipling relationships. We daily choose to love the people God has placed in our lives.
WE SERVE.
It brings honor to God when we offer simple acts of service. At Open Door, we serve Jesus every Sunday morning on our volunteer ministry teams and by living out our Christian faith and serving those around us each day. Every 9 weeks, we serve our community in a variety of ways by devoting our Sunday morning to what we call "Serve Sundays".
